Newest News UPDATE BY: Shadow ABOUT: SapphireClan Council ON: 1/9/09 ATTENTION ALL PEOPLE WHO APPLIED FOR SAPPHIRECLAN COUNCIL, OR REALLY, ANYONE WHO CARES ABOUT SAPPHIRECLAN COUNCIL! IT HAS BEEN DECIDED! MWAHA! Okay, caps time over. I won't annoy you all throughout the announcement looking like I'm yelling. ;-) Anyways, yes, it is time for the big announcement. After consulting with my council, we have decided on a leader, deputy, AND Medicine cat for SapphireClan. So they go from having nothing *aww...* to having everything! *yay!* Okay, thanks to everyone who sent in an application, don't be a poor sport if you don't get a spot, and good job if you did. Alrighty now, I won't torture you with waiting any longer. XD THE SAPPHIRECLAN COUNCIL CHOICES ARE... Leader- Puppy (pupgirl6_4) The council agrees that you are the best choice for leader. You've been in COJF for a long time, know how everything around here works, and have never let us down. Most of us know personally that you would make a great leader, so congrats on the position! You will be getting council powers/webbie powers ASAP. Neomail Shadow with questions. Deputy- Hannah (kittys_rok) The council agrees that you are a very worthy deputy! You look very promising and have already done so much to help COJF. Even though you're a new member I believe that you deserve deputy, and so does the council. So, pick a kitty to be deputy and tell Puppy so that she can have a ceremony! Neomail Shadow with questions if you have any. Medicine cat- Nova (brokenwings887) You asked for Cherrykit to grow up to be a medicine cat, and that wish will be granted! You're one of the best new members we've had in a while, very kind and helpful and active. You definitely deserve this position, and the rest of the council agrees! Neomail Shadow with any questions as well. Well, that's it! XD SapphireClan council! Woot! UPDATE BY: Shadow ABOUT: Quickie Update ON: 1/5/09 This is just a quickie update about random things.. I'm not posting it on the guild, just here. We'll see how many of you actually pay attention/read the webbie. XD The first issue I want to touch down on is literacy. We've got a lot of new members recently, which is great. I just want to make sure you remember our no chatspeak rule, and that we are literate. That means capitalization and grammar. We understand a few typos, though. It also means I want somewhat long-ish posts. I'm not asking for five paragraphs, but I'd like them to be more than 2 or 3 sentences. I've seen a lot of this lately, and I've been reminding people. Just.. try to make an effort, okay? Those who are are doing great so far, and I thank you. :) The second issue is council! Dun dun dun! Three applications for SapphireClan leader.. Hmm.. wow. You guys want all the power. XD Just kidding.. but really, the plot positions are needed and not as hard to get, so why not try for one of those? SapphireClan leader is one of the most wanted positions.. I'm not saying anything about what the council is deciding, just that we're pretty close to the decision, the vote is almost unanimous. All I'm going to say is that before the gathering, SapphireClan will have a new leader, deputy, and medicine cat. Yeah, a gathering! Yaaaaaay! There will be one in the month of January, late January, or early February. Once I get around to it and council is chosen for SapphrieClan I'll send around a council neomail.. we'll set up a loose date and then you guys can help us out and tell us if it's good. For those of you who haven't yet experienced a gathering of COJF, it's pretty easy. It's in Roleplay, but we can also party OOC, if you guys want. It'll be over a weekend or two, depending on how quickly we can get things done. The leaders of the Clans will pick warriors to go with them, then we go to GreatRocks, the gathering place. Don't know what that is? Ask a long-time member for a description. After that it's just like a regular gathering- have fun having your characters interact! The rogues might also make an appearance, to make things interesting. Depends.. *shifty eyes* I think that's it for my quickie update! ~Shadow UPDATE BY: Shadow ABOUT: Random Updates ON: 1/1/09 Wow, a lot happened while I was gone! I'm just here to check in before I go to bed, though. I want to welcome all of our new members! Congrats to Sami for getting them all.. wow.. maybe we can live, after all! I'm Shadow, your leader. The all mighty. Haha no, just kidding about that. I'm not power hungry. XD Anyways! If all the new members could do me a huge favor and please read the webbie, I would be very happy. There would be a lot less confusion, since ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW is there. Everything. Okay? *pokes it* *pokes you* Okay. Neomail your cats to me IF you either want them in DiamondClan or SapphireClan. If not, Midnight is leader of TopazClan and Sunny is leader of JadeClan. It's all on the webbie.. the webbie has all the answers.. XD I might have to put another ban on DiamondClan cats soon.. we have MANY.. the Current Active Cat count for each Clan is also- surprise! UPDATE BY: Shadow ABOUT: More random updates ON: 1/2/09 Hi guys. Back again for more updates. Anyways.. *deep breath* I have a lot of updates for you guys, Roleplay and Non-Roleplay.. First off, I'm sorry, but I'm going to put another ban on the DiamondClan cats. We've got 30 now. Yeah. Wow. So put some kitties in the other Clans!! SapphireClan's council is sad. We don't have a leader, deputy, or medicine cat. We've already got some people applying for leader, but we really need people to be applying for deputies and med cats of the Clans as well! So please apply! I'll be temporarily playing Fellowstar for where a leader is needed... until a leader, deputy, or med cat for SapphireClan is chosen. Sadly, I had to delete one of our members, Nnel, because she hasn't been on in a long time.. so Salem's position in the plot is now open, as well as SapphireClan medicine cat. I have to do some ceremonies/mentor updates because of the inactivity, so those will come in the next post! And oh yeah, we're going to have a gathering soon. Yay! The leaders and I will decide on some day in January, and we'll let you know. Monthly Updates MONTH OF: December UPDATE BY: Shadow Alright guys, while I'm here and updating, I'm doing to do a little newsletter thing for you all. I'll send it in 2 guild neomails, too. One guild per day is allowed. It'll be the sort of winter update! Yay! First off, I want to welcome all of our new members. Since I've been advertising my fingers off lately, we have quite a few! Our current active member count is 11. 11, hear me? Not 19. Some members are old staff members who have requested to stay in the guild, some are old time members who are on the cusp of being deleted, some are actual active members, and some are unactive members that I will get around to deleting sooner or later. Anyways, layout news! We need a winter one- BADLY. If anyone would like to put the time aside to make one for us, please neomail me! I would make one, but I'm very busy with other updating stuff. Also, one of our new members, Hannah, is making our webbie a new layout! That'll be up soon, exciting! Roleplay news! I updated the DiamondClan and TopazClan pages today, I'll do SapphireClan and JadeClan later. So far, the active cat count for Topaz is 13 and for Diamond is 25. Wow. Yeah.. so, from now on, when you guys make new characters, give TopazClan a few cats, will ya? Out of Sapphire and Jade, I think Jade has less cats, also. In other news, I'll do a couple of apprentice/mentor ceremonies for DiamondClan later, once I figure out their mentors. The plot's still sort of going on, I'll work out the open positions for that later. Yes, positions! We have council, sub-council, Roleplay, graphics.. a lot of stuff open! Clan Ceremonies CLAN: Sapphire CEREMONY/IES: Apprentice DONE BY: Fellowstar Fellowstar emerged from his den and loped slowly to the center of the clearing. Bunching his thick muscles under his rippling pelt, he leaped up onto the Highbranch. His bright gaze flitted across the clearing before he finally spoke up. "May all cats old enough to catch their own prey join together under the Highbranch for a Clan meeting!" he yowled. Once the Clan had gathered, he continued. "Jaypaw, please step forward. Though your recent injury has prevented you from getting a mentor, I believe that you're ready now to receive one." He nodded as the young she-cat scrambled up to sit next to him. "Poppyfeather, you are ready for your first apprentice. I hope you will use all that you know to train Jaypaw to the best of your ability." Fellowstar waited until mentor and apprentice had touched noses, then led SapphireClan in a chant. "Jaypaw! Jaypaw! Jaypaw!" CLAN: Diamond CEREMONY/IES: Apprentices DONE BY: Shadowstar ic DiamondClan:// Shadowstar emerged from his den and made his way towards the Rockfalls, his powerful muscles rippling under his thick fur. Determination shone in his gaze as he leaped up the cliff wall, and he let out a yowl once he reached the top. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather together under the Rockfalls for a Clan meeting!" Once the Clan had gathered, he continued. "We have some ceremonies that we need to take care of. For personal reasons, Dappledblossom will no longer be able to mentor Hawkpaw. His mentor will be switched. Sunblaze, you proved that you are an excellent mentor. I hope you will continue that with your training of Hawkpaw." He cleared his throat, then continued. "Quillpaw, Burntpaw, you have proved to me that you can be loyal apprentices of DiamondClan. It is time for you two to receive your mentors. Coalwhisker, you are ready for your first apprentice. I hope you will pass on all your knowledge as a warrior to Quillpaw." He dipped his head as mentor and apprentice touched noses. "Mintfeather, you are ready to take on an apprentice as well. I hope that you will teach Burntpaw to the best of your ability." Shadowstar dipped his massive head again, then led his Clan in a chant. "Quillpaw! Burntpaw! Quillpaw! Burntpaw!" With that, Shadowstar jumped down from the Rockfalls. |
